Black Crowes' Chris Robinson calls out fans during USA chant

The Black Crowes' frontman killed the vibe hard. Mid-show, fans started chanting USA, and Robinson straight up told them to stop, saying they sounded ignorant. The crowd didn't take it well. You can imagine how that played out—people booing, pulling out their phones, and immediately jumping on Twitter to vent.

Now here's where it gets messy. Robinson's fans are defending him, saying he was making a political point about nationalism or whatever he was actually thinking. His detractors fired back saying he had no right to lecture paying customers at a rock concert. Both sides are dug in, and the discourse has gotten exactly as productive as you'd expect.

This isn't the first time musicians have clashed with crowds over politics, but it usually doesn't blow up this fast. The real question is whether Robinson actually moves the needle on what he believes in, or if he just annoyed a bunch of people who came to hear Jealous Again and have a good time.
